SROI ACCREDITATION TRAINING
Social Return on Investment (SROI) is a method for understanding and measuring the environmental and social impact of a project, organisation or policy (to know more about SROI, please visit About SROI). In partnership with Social Value UK, HKI-SIA offers two-day SROI Accreditation Training workshops to a level suitable for trainees seeking to become accredited practitioners.
So far, HKI-SIA has offered 7 rounds, in total 13 sessions of the training to local and overseas participants with diverse backgrounds including government, the academia, corporate sector, foundations, NGOs and social enterprises since 2013. HKI-SIA also co-organized the first SROI Accreditation Training in Taiwan.
The SROI Accreditation Training is designed as the first step for individuals considering doing an SROI. Training does not guarantee accreditation, but is a necessary step towards becoming an accredited practitioner. To become a SROI practitioner, accredited by Social Value International, you need to have:
- Completed this training
- Completed a SROI analysis; and
- Become a member of Social Value International
