Research

Picture
Our major role is to become a knowledge clearinghouse on social impact assessment. We aim to conduct cutting-edge research studies to enrich our practical knowledge and project experience in Hong Kong and China.
We will conduct a series of SROI case analysis on a number of social enterprises and NGOs in the coming year including, for example, Fullness Auto Service, Fullness Salon, Ground Works, etc.

Training

HKISIA has a vision in the development of social impact analysis in Hong Kong and China. We envision more practitioners would be equipped with the knowledge of impact assessment and become accredited social impact analysts.
Thus far HKISIA has organised 4 SROI accreditation training workshops delivered by principal trainer Mr. Jeremy Nicholls, CEO of SROI Network International for 60 practitioners from the third sector, social enterprises, impact investing, finance consultancy, government units, etc.

Network building

HKISIA aims to build a network of social impact analysts to exchange experience and co-create the knowledge base of social impact analysis.
Locally, HKISIA facilitates the network building by hosting gatherings, organising study groups and seminars, etc. HKISIA also positions itself as a bridge between our members and other organizations to promote to our members' interest.
Regionally and internationally, HKISIA attends conferences or seminars to develop connections with social impact analysts worldwide.
